Privacy Policy

Seven Ideas makes small games with one big twist. We collect as little data as possible, and we explain here what we use, why, and what you can do about it.

Short version

• Minimum data. We only collect what a game or website needs to work, or what you choose to send us.
• Optional statistics. Usage statistics in our games are only collected with your consent.
• No ads, no data selling. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.
• You are in control. Ask for your data or its deletion at any time: contact@seven-ideas.com.

1. Who we are

BBG is the “data controller” for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers:

• the website seven-ideas.com;
• the games and apps published by Seven Ideas, and their websites (for example Keywow and keywow.app).

Each game can have its own privacy policy describing exactly what that game uses. Where a game has one, it applies together with this policy, and its details prevail for that game. For example, Keywow’s policy is at keywow.app/en/privacy-policy.

3. Data we use

3.1 On our websites

Our websites set no cookies and use no advertising or analytics tools. Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) to deliver the sites and keep them secure.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running secure websites.

3.2 In our games

Depending on the game:

• Game progress and settings. Usually saved on your device.
• Optional usage statistics. Anonymous information about how the game’s screens are used, collected only if you agree, through a service provider (for example PostHog Inc., United States).
  • Legal basis: your consent.
• Feedback and reviews you send us. Your message, your rating if you give one, and technical information that helps us fix problems (app version, recent app logs).
  • Legal basis: your consent, which you give when you choose to send it.
• Purchases. Handled by the app store (for example Google Play). We never see your card or bank details; the store tells us what was bought so we can deliver it.
  • Legal basis: performing our contract with you.

3.3 When you email us

If you write to contact@seven-ideas.com, we use your email address and message to answer you.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you, or the steps you ask us to take before a contract.

4. What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data.
• We do not show personalized ads or build advertising profiles.
• We do not collect more than a feature needs.

5. Who receives data

Only the service providers needed to run our games and websites, and only for the purposes above:

• our hosting provider;
• our statistics provider, only with your consent;
• the app stores.

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our players or of BBG.

When data is processed outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep data

• Usage statistics: up to 24 months.
• Feedback and emails: as long as needed to answer you, and at most 24 months after our last exchange.
• Website access logs: up to 12 months.
• Data on your device: until you clear it or uninstall the game.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can:

• access your data and get a copy;
• correct it;
• delete it;
• restrict or object to its processing;
• receive it in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent at any time.

To use these rights, email contact@seven-ideas.com. We answer within one month.

You can also complain to the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or to the authority of your country.

8. Children

Our games are not intended for children under 13. Players under 15, or under the age of digital consent in their country, need a parent’s permission to use our games, accept statistics or make purchases.

If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), keep data on our devices and servers to a minimum, and limit access to the people who need it. If a breach affects your data, we will act and inform you as the law requires.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will tell you on our websites or in our games before it applies.
